How Artland, together with their SEO-partner Bonzer, tripled their organic traffic on artists in just 2 months through search engine optimized artist biographies

Artland, who source and trade art from across the globe on their website, wanted to increase their online presence and improve their long-tail SEO-rankings. This could be achieved through the automatic generation of text descriptions for all their artists, galleries, and exhibitions around the world.

Our editor provided them with a resource-efficient solution, which enabled Artland, with the help of Bonzer, to automatically generate artist biographies for all their 130 000 artists in their database. They integrated their data variables, sat up their templates, and started automatically publishing and dynamically updating their artist biographies.

Obviously, some artist biographies have performed better than others such as, Alexander Lihl, who went from being beyond page 10 to be the first result on Google searches on his name. Furthermore, other artist pages, such as Peter Halley, has increased their monthly visits immensely.
